Values
Pursuit of excellence
We have the ambition to train musicians who meet the highest standards of artistic quality.
Communicating the tradition
We teach knowledge, skills and techniques for the realisation and interpretation of musical works at the highest level.
International orientation
We observe and open ourselves to international developments in education and culture.
Embracing diversity
We see ourselves as a learning community that values and encourages great social and cultural diversity among students and staff in order to strengthen and inspire each other.
Work in an up-to-date learning environment
We create a learning environment in which we use all possible contemporary learning and communication tools.
From tradition to innovation
We look beyond existing boundaries both within and outside the arts. We want our students to become specialists who can excel both within and outside the established fields of work. They are encouraged to develop skills that go beyond excellence in musical performance.
Cooperation and community
Together with our students, teachers, staff and external partners, we always strive to achieve the best possible results in a cooperative manner.
