BEETHOVEN CONSERVATORIUM

Beethoven Conservatoire Venlo is a private institution. We support our students in the development of their artistic and creative talents; their ambitions at the highest level, with plenty of room for personal development. In this way, we prepare young talents to function as soloists, orchestral musicians, chamber musicians or composers in a demanding and constantly changing professional environment. Only in this way can young artists gain a position in our society.

The Bachelor Level programme is a four-year programme divided into eight semesters. After completing this study, you will receive a certificate. This certificate allows you to continue your studies at Master Level, provided you are eligible for admission. The language of instruction is German, Dutch and/or English. The so-called practical entrance exam is compulsory for all candidates. The exams held between semesters are important, here a recommendation to discontinue or repeat a semester of study may be given.

The Mission of Beethoven Conservatorium

We welcome you to learn more about us

Art, and music in particular, is an invaluable source of beauty and meaning in a world faced with constant change and development. The constantly evolving landscape to which the arts are inseparable, requires us to be broadly informed and understanding of the breadth of developments in society. While grounded in tradition, our students train for success regardless of the uncertainty and evolving situation they will face.

The Beethoven Conservatorium works closely with the International Music Academy Anton Rubinstein Düsseldorf (Germany). This cooperation can lead to projects such as a chamber orchestra, a choir or other activities.

The Beethoven Conservatorium also seeks communication with the city of Venlo in order to organize concerts in the region and to collaborate with the rich, local music scene of Limburg.
