While still a student in Mainz, she was able to gain orchestral experience as an intern with the Philharmonic State Orchestra of Mainz. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Brussels, she went to Berlin, where she became an academician with the Staatskapelle Berlin and played under such important conductors as Daniel Barenboim, Pierre Boulez and Michael Gielen. Further stations in her orchestral career were the State Orchestras of Hanover, Saarbrücken and Braunschweig and the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra. Since 2018, Anna Saha has been playing as principal flute with the Aachen Symphony Orchestra. At this position, she makes guest appearances with orchestras such as the Orchestra of the Opéra Monnaie Brussels, the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin and the Gürzenichorchester Cologne. She is also principal flutist of the Beethoven Orchestra Le Concert Olympique in Belgium.
Anna Saha is an enthusiastic chamber musician and flutist in the ARUNDOSquintett.
Since 2021 she has been a lecturer at the Beethoven Conservatorium in Tegelen.
